Klinger has compromised his chance to play in the WA for his game play in BPL T20 series

The veteran batsman Michael Klinger has compromised his league play in the Western Australia league for being the part of Bangladesh T20 tournament for this season. He is the part of the current series but had certainly missed the first half of Sheffield Shield season. He has most effectively taken himself out of the first half of the JLT Sheffield Shield season announcing that this veteran batsman will join the Bangladesh’s domestic T20 tournament in Bangladesh.
Klinger, moving away from the Warriors’ Shield side was a sudden surprise as they had defeated Tasmania by 301 runs before this decision. This 37-year-old chap after receiving the green signal for his chance to play in the BPL tournament got off from both the Western Australian Cricket Association and Cricket Australia, with a confirmation from the WACA that he will remain as a contracted player for the 2017-18 seasons.
This is being understood that this decision is a mutual agreement from Klinger and WA coaching staffs for giving the right-hander a little match practice prior to the upcoming Perth Scorchers’ KFC Big Bash League campaign.
He competitive ad-on into the Bangladesh Premier league has been given a thumbs up by competition’s featured veterans such as- Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum and Kumar Sangakkara.
The final game of the BPL Betting Tips league is going to be held in Dhaka on December 12th which means Klinger is almost certain of being unavailable for the upcoming WA selection until after the BPL break.
Coach, Justin Langer had given a hint earlier during this week that this was a tough call taken regarding their star-studded batting line-up.
“There will be some headaches and some really tough decisions,” the former Test opener initiated. He further added, “We have been thinking about it for months … Seven into six will provide a challenge.”
Klinger’s non-selection reflected that a vogue of veteran players are going to be put away in the commencing round of Shield games, with the probable names of veteran former Test players such as- Tim Paine, Ed Cowan and Cameron White all missing out.
During February, Klinger had made his long-awaited international debut in the Australia’s T20 International series against Sri Lanka.

India vs. New Zealand: Kohli boys overpowered the Kiwis

Playing in the decider match in Thiruvananthapuram, Virat Kohli and his power packed team defeated the Kiwis in a fantastic match yesterday by six runs clinching the series by 2-1.
The entire game appeared to be a disciplined bowling display given by the Indian bowlers that helped them earn their first bilateral Twenty20 series victory playing against New Zealand. India defeated the kiwis in a rain curtailed match of 8 overs where they fell short of six runs letting the hosts win with a 2-1 series score.

The bowlers did a fantastic job with Jasprit Bumrah (2/9) and Yuzvendra Chahal (8 runs in 2 overs) led bowling setup that abandoned the New Zealand batsmen to catch up with the rapidly increasing required run-rate. Colin de Grandhomme was the single handed man trying to save their grace who remained not out scoring 17 runs.

The match appeared to be pretty exciting throughout, however the final overs tend to be the final decider with the hosts overpowering the game. Earlier the toss got interrupted by the rains that led the game to a curtailed over limit of just 8 overs.

Batting first the Indian team set a target of 68 runs. Batting then after, the Kiwis started well but soon lost 2 wickets easily. They were at a tricky position and kept trying till the end but batting against the Indian bowlers appeared to be pretty difficult with every new bowler coming on board. Wickets kept falling one after the other.  Rohit Sharma took an exotic catch that appeared to be the turning point in the game.

Once Bhuvneshwar Kumar was done with his quota of two overs and Jasprit Bumrah had already bowled the penultimate over, Indians were only left a few choices among the specialist bowlers. Kuldeep Yadav was expected to bowl the final over, however, captain Kohli offered Hardik Pandya to take the final shot and he did his job pretty well leading the India Tigers to the victory.

In the post-match press, Kohli addressed the media saying, "In the second innings, they didn't give too many boundary balls. We wanted our best bowlers to get done early and leave so many runs in the end they would be left with a lot. They executed the plans well."

Man of the Match and Man of the Series: Jasprit Bumrah

 Score Card:
India: 67/5 in 8 overs

New Zealand: 61/6 in 8 overs

Result: India won the series by 6 runs

India vs. New Zealand: India confidence vs. Kiwis Overconfidence concluded the 1st T20I in favour of Kohli and his Boys

Yesterday’s match went a little off track as per the Kiwis expectations. Not even a single victory against New Zealand by India, ever since the inception of this shortest format of the cricket led the Kiwis overconfident.

It was just the mere confidence and in form Indian team that led the pain of the Kiwis into gain for themselves and especially for Ashish Nehra who was playing his last game of his career. With no regrets both the team and the veteran pacer left the crowd emotionally driven.

This Virat Kohli-led team India is in full form in all forms of SESSION BETTING TIPS and seems to rupture any disruption coming in mid. None of the team has conquered against them and the series continued with tehNO.1 ranked New Zealand’s defeat yesterday.

Opting to bowl first, the Kiwis expected the dew to arrive a little later for an additional edge. Mitchell Santner began with the opening bowling. Expecting the Kiwi spinners — Santner, Ish Sodhi and Nathan McCullum — fabricating similar conditions as was done a year back at Nagpur against India during the inaugural match of World T20 2016, they began their league, but things turned totally opposite.

Santner bowled pretty well in the initial over’s, taking out Jadeja-like arm balls and keeping Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan in a tangle scoring just a single run off the over. But, soon things turned different. Both Rohit Sharma and Dhawan scored 80 runs each taking the score to a final of 202 at 3 wickets lost at the end of 1st Innings.

Chasing the globe, the Kiwis started off in form but Chahal takes the first wicket in the second over and the fall of wickets starts one after the other leaving New Zealand sum up at a total of 149 at 8 wickets at the end of the 20th over.

India won by 54 runs and the man of the match was Shikhar Dhawan with 80 runs in just 52 balls

Williamson’s said in a post-match presentation ceremony concluding for New Zealand’s performance. “A disappointing performance from us in all areas,” Williamson said. “One that stands out is the fielding. We were very poor there. I don’t think we can use the ground conditions as an excuse. India was superb and played better. When you’re chasing a total like that which was certainly many above par, you do need to take risks. It was disappointing but we will be back in Rajkot. We couldn’t quite use the spinners the way we would have liked to, which was to control the rate of scoring, but they bowled very well.”
